North Quay Improvements

Work is progressing well on the second phase of the North Quay improvements with the current section from Quine's Corner to St Mathew's Church due for completion at the end of October.

Improvements to the area around Douglas's inner harbour has been one of the Partnership's main priorities over the last few years.  North Quay has been the focus of much of the work.  Although the North Quay improvement project is still on site it is now possible to appreciate what an asset the finished area will be to Douglas.  Already adjoining businesses have invested in their properties and a number of the cafes, pubs and restaurants have made use of the new wider pavements to set up outdoor seating areas.
