ShopWatch is an on-going initiative run by Douglas retailers with the support of Douglas Development Partnership and the Police.  Retailers keep each other informed of potential shoplifters and other suspicious characters in the town centre through a text messaging network.  The Police also share intelligence on convicted persons (fully in accordance with Data Protection Legislation) with the retailers in order that they can be identified.  Membership of the scheme is open to any retailer in Douglas for an annual fee of £25.  Please contact the Partnership office if you would like an application form.
