Douglas Development Partnership

The company is headed by a board of directors which meets on a quarterly basis to agree strategy and budgets, and an advisory group which meets monthly to guide operational issues. The everyday management of the Partnership is conducted from the Partnership office by two members of staff.

The Board of Directors

The board of directors comprises an independent chairman, and two members each from Douglas Corporation, the Isle of Man Chamber of Commerce and Tynwald, the Isle of Man parliament. Current membership of the Board of Directors is as follows;

Staff 

The Partnership has two members of staff who are are employed on behalf of the Partnership by Douglas Corporation.  The Development Manager is Chris Pycroft and the Development Assistant is Susan Bagnall.

 

The new harbourside railings on North Quay typify the approach of the Partnership.  The railings were designed by artist, Ian Moran, and include blue LED lighting which creates a line of light around the harbour's edge.
